MGB Awarded Principal Contractor Licence

In March 2008 Network Rail granted MGB Signalling a licence to act as a Principal Contractor working on their West Coast Main Line.

For a relatively young company we are extremely proud of this achievement as it is pivotal to achieving our future goals and will help in promoting the MGB Signalling design, build and test capability.

On being awarded the provisional Principal Contractors License, Stuart Calvert MD of MGB Signalling said:

"Our vision of being the leading signalling contractor in the UK without control technology has now come a few steps close. Being granted a PCL by Network Rail allows us to undertake the full range of project construction and installation services across the UK Rail Network. The award of this license is testament to the integrity of our management team and their processes and systems. This is a significant step in the development of our company and means that we can now introduce to site installation and testing, the same level of quality, efficiency, and flexibility already demonstrated by us in design and manufacturing.
