Power Enclosures
MGB Signalling Ltd supply a range of MaGBox Power Enclosures that provide equipment power supplies and efficiently manage incoming cables within Railway Signalling enclosures.
The MaGBox Power Enclosure range is used extensively across the railway infrastructure and is currently operational on several key projects within signalling Location Cases and REB’s.
The standard range is available in stainless steel using rail industry proven components and includes a removable gland plate that can be predrilled to suit any cable installation requirement. Bespoke design configurations and materials are offered to suit any desired application. MGB offer the added option of a Spreader Box used to increase the inward housing space used to spread and terminate larger cable cores.
Each MaGBox Power Enclosure comes fully tested to 3A and 3BL standard making the equipment effectively ready to “install and go.”
Our range of power enclosures are available in a variety of types including:

AC single phase, AC three phase and DC enclosures covering a range of supply voltages of 110-650vAvailable in 1,2,3 and 4 switch arrangements to locally supply up to four transformers
- Switches can be padlocked in the off position to protect against accidental power up
- Test/Monitoring points allow Maintainers to measure the live voltages present within the enclosure from the safety of externally mounted test points
- CM63 carriers provide the ability to independently fuse the locally supplied transformers
- Location case and free standing rack mountable
- IP65 rated enclosure
- Adaptable to bespoke requirements
