Research and Development
Our research and development team is committed to working with our clients in the development of new products. We actively seek new ideas and solutions that would bring value to the industry, including direct financial savings, improved system dependability and minimising environmental impact.
An example of our innovation is the development of a suite of products based on the BR930 relay dimensions, which brings advantage when incorporated in new build or during the replacement of life expired equipment.It can also improve system availability by reducing MTTR times due to its plug-in ability.
This benefit is further enhanced by our application of surface mount technology components and a `modular approach` allowing different products to share common modules e.g. the power supply PCB. This can result in significant benefits such as reduced cost, reduced manufacture time and improved reliability.
One of our products that uses this technology is the newly Network Rail Approved `Signal Aspect Flashing Relay` or SAFR which is currently in production.
We are always interested in opportunities to work with clients to solve their problems and these can range from the longer term maintenance type issues to the more urgent project requirements.
