Detailed Design
Our design team is able to provide an extensive range of services due to the depth and breadth of skills within the team. With technical knowledge of historical (e.g. Mechanical locking and Geographical Interlockings) and modern (e.g. SSI & CBI) systems we can provide solutions and integration support in these areas.
These technical skills are enhanced by our application experience including major projects that brings knowledge and a practical outlook to project delivery.
Our team specialises in two areas:
Scheme development and interface:
This team works with clients to develop schemes from inception through to ‘approval in principle’ stage. It also provides interface and integration skills, allowing new systems to integrate with existing systems and infrastructure.
Control systems engineering:
As part of our fundamental goal to provide standardised and efficient solutions to new build projects, this team works closely with our manufacturing and installation group to ensure our client requirements are met. This internal relationship provides a very effective feedback loop for between design and manufacture, and allows a ‘rapid response’ capability for late project change, avoiding delays to commissionings.
